Recently, after discussing with some moms about the challenges of bridge books, which I was surprised to find not many people talk about, I’ve decided to start sharing picture books that contain more words and more complex content than typical picture books intended for a younger audience. I see this as a way for my kids to practice reading before they feel overwhelmed by books that are packed with text.
