Bao & Bun's Bilingual Journey

Little Long Bao just wrapped up the last book in the yellow set of Greenfield books. While there were days I had to nudge him to read, he seems to enjoy this set more than Sagebook overall. It’s a great sign of how far he’s come in the past six months, showing that consistent reading pays off.

However, there are still times when he struggles to remember characters like 「很」 and 「誰」, even though he’s seen them many times. I try not to get frustrated and keep repeating the sounds of these characters to him.

At this pace, I hope he’ll finish all the Greenfield books by the end of summer. I also plan to mix in some picture books like 皮皮與波西 or 班班的生活 to keep his reading momentum going into fall.
